1. Frame

Q: Can I buy the CIMA frameset without the KREUZA handlebar?
A: Yes, you can. However, please note that the standard headset cover of the CIMA frameset is designed specifically for the KREUZA Apex one-piece handlebar. If you plan to use a different handlebar, you will need a headset adapter for proper fit and compatibility.

We recommend checking with your handlebar supplier to confirm they can provide an adapter that fits the CIMA frameset.

Q: How do I choose the right frame size?
A: Choosing the right frame depends on your height, inseam length, and arm reach. We recommend referring to our size chart or visiting an evolve authorized dealer for a test ride.

Q: I’m XXX cm tall. What size frame should I get?
A: Height alone isn’t enough for an accurate recommendation. Please consult our size chart or contact our online support team for personalized advice.

Q: What type of frame geometry do you offer?
A: Our CIMA frames feature race-oriented geometry—longer top tubes and steeper head angles for enhanced handling and speed.

Q: What is seatpost offset? How do I choose the right offset for me?
A: Seatpost offset (also known as setback) refers to the horizontal distance between the center of the seatpost shaft and the center of the saddle clamp. In simpler terms, it determines how far your saddle sits behind or in line with the seatpost itself.

This design plays an important role in adjusting your riding position and comfort：

Adjusts saddle position:
A seatpost with positive offset (setback) moves the saddle further back, while one with zero or negative offset positions it closer to the handlebars.

Impacts posture and performance:

Setback seatpost (positive offset):
Ideal for riders with longer legs or torsos, as it allows for a more stretched-out position and can reduce pressure on the lower back.

Zero or forward-offset seatpost (negative offset):
Brings the saddle closer to the handlebars, which helps improve power transfer and efficiency during climbs or more aggressive riding.

Q: How do I choose the right seatpost length?
A: After selecting the frame size, choose either the 310mm or 380mm seatpost length based on your saddle top – BB center.

For example:
If you choose size M:
For saddle top – BB center between 650–720mm, we recommend the 310mm seatpost.
For saddle top – BB center between 746–816mm, we recommend the 380mm seatpost.
For saddle top – BB center between 720–746mm, either 310mm or 380mm seatpost is suitable.

Q: When should I purchase a UDH Direct Mount Derailleur Hanger?
A: All of our frames come standard with a SRAM UDH derailleur hanger, which is fully compatible with both Shimano and SRAM electronic shifting systems.

If you are using a Shimano Di2 groupset and want to reduce weight, you may consider adding the UDH Direct Mount Derailleur Hanger to your frameset order. This direct-mount option removes the additional joint required by the standard Shimano hanger, resulting in a 13.36g weight savings compared to the default SRAM UDH hanger.

Q: How much do your frames weigh?
A: Frame weight varies by size, model, and paint finish. Please refer to the product detail page for exact specifications.

Q: How stiff are your frames?
A: Our frames are built with premium carbon fiber and advanced manufacturing techniques to ensure high stiffness, reduced power loss, and greater pedaling efficiency.

Q: What bottom bracket does the evolve CIMA use?
A: The evolve CIMA uses a 68mm BSA threaded bottom bracket.

Q: Why do you use CeramicSpeed SLT headset bearings?
A: We use CeramicSpeed SLT (Solid Lubrication Technology) headset bearings for one simple reason: performance that lasts a lifetime.

Q: What is the maximum weight limit for the evolve CIMA?
A: 109 kg.

Q: Are there any restrictions on saddle types for evolve CIMA?
A: No. All standard saddles are compatible.

Q: Can I repaint my frame or fork?
A: We do not recommend repainting. It will void the warranty, as disassembly or repainting may compromise the carbon structure.

2. Handlebars

Q: Can I adjust the stem height?
A: Yes. The KREUZA Apex handlebar comes with 5mm and 10mm spacers for adjustment. Please follow the user manual to adjust the height and trim the fork steerer tube if needed.

Q: Can I replace the handlebar?
A: Yes, but we currently do not offer headset cover kits for other handlebar models. If needed, contact our support team.

Q: Can I buy the handlebar separately?
A: Yes. KREUZA Apex handlebars are currently compatible with Specialized Tarmac SL8/SL7, Trek Madone 8/7, Pinarello Dogma F, FSA systems, and a few others, please visit the product detail page for more information. Other frame models are not supported at this time.
