A union of performance engineering and more than twenty years of cycling excellence

evolve is proud to announce its partnership with Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente for the 2026 season, marking a decisive step in the brand’s progression from advanced performance engineering to professional-level racing validation.

Founded over twenty years ago, Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente stands as one of Italy’s most respected development-focused Continental teams — a profile that closely mirrors evolve’s own philosophy of long-term performance, precision, and rider-first design.

With its first model, CIMA, earning widespread recognition and praise among riders and industry professionals, evolve is now entering the next chapter of its cycling journey.

Among numerous partnership opportunities, evolve identified Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente as the ideal platform — a collaboration rooted in shared values, competitive ambition, and the ability to transform engineering into results under real racing conditions.

Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente was established initially as an amateur structure before rapidly evolving into a UCI Continental team, under the leadership of Angelo Baldini, who began as Sports Director and later became Team Manager. Throughout its history, Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente has collaborated with numerous sponsors, while the team has remained a constant presence, helping consolidate the team’s identity and long-term sporting vision.

Over the years, Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente has proven itself to be a true cycling school, developing riders capable of succeeding at the highest level of the sport. Alumni include Michał Kwiatkowski, former World Champion; Paul Double, winner of the 2025 Tour of Guangxi (2.UWT) general classification; and Filippo Zana, Giro d’Italia stage winner with Soudal Quick-Step.

Among them is Ben Granger, now a team leader at UCI ProTeam Solution Tech–NIPPO–Rali, a team that will also compete on the evolve CIMA throughout the 2026 season — further underlining the continuity between evolve’s development philosophy and top-level professional racing.

Today, the team is supported by a highly experienced technical staff, including:

Paolo Tiralongo, former professional rider with participation in 6 Tour de France, 12 Giro d’Italia, and 12 Vuelta a España

Maurizio Frizzo, former professional and Vuelta a España finisher

Daniele Della Tommasina, former professional rider and current athletic trainer

This depth of experience ensures a professional environment focused on rider development, tactical excellence, and performance optimization, values that align closely with evolve’s product philosophy.

Competitive results and momentum

The 2025 season confirmed Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente as one of the most competitive Continental Teams on the calendar. Notable results include:

Stage win at Flèche du Sud (2.2) – Thomas Mein

Victory at Due Giorni Marchigiana – GP Santa Rita (1.2) – Francesco Parravano

Rutland–Melton CiCLE Classic (1.2) victory – Ben Granger

National Champion of Uruguay – Road Race – Ciro Pérez

3rd place at Gran Premio Città di Peccioli – Coppa Sabatini (1.Pro) – Ben Granger

In addition, the team collected numerous wins across the Italian national and regional calendar and finished third overall in the Coppa Italia delle Regioni, behind Team Polti Visit Malta and VF Group Bardiani CSF–Faizanè, and ahead of Solution Tech Vini Fantini, MBH Bank Ballan CSB, and other prominent teams.

Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente also boasts two appearances at the UCI Team Time Trial World Championships, underlining its historical strength in collective performance and race organization.

A strong and versatile 2026 roster

For 2026, Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente presents a balanced lineup combining proven winners, experienced leaders, and high-potential young riders, creating an ideal platform for partners such as evolve to showcase innovation in real racing conditions.

Among the standout riders is George Wood, former Zappi Racing Team rider and British U23 National Series overall winner, with multiple Italian national victories and strong UCI 1.2 results. His trajectory toward top-level UCI success reflects the team’s competitive ambition.

The roster is reinforced by experienced rider Matteo Spreafico, former Giro d’Italia participant and overall winner of the Vuelta a Venezuela, whose endurance, time trial strength, and leadership provide a solid foundation for stage races and team performance.

Additional firepower comes from riders such as William Rees Harding, winner of UCI 1.2 races and consistent top-10 finisher in major international events, Francesco Parravano, multiple-time Elite/U23 race winner, and Andrea Cantoni, Giro Next Gen stage winner and consistent performer in UCI stage races.

This diverse and competitive roster provides evolve with an ideal real-world testing environment, allowing its products to be validated across climbs, time trials, classics, and stage racing — exactly where performance differences matter most.

A shared vision with evolve

For the 2026 season, evolve enters professional racing with its flagship CIMA frameset — a product designed from the ground up for uncompromised performance. Built using a refined layup of TORAY T1100, T800, and M40 carbon, the unpainted M-size frame weighs just 650 grams, achieving a precise balance between low weight, stiffness, and race durability.

Wind tunnel testing conducted at Silverstone confirmed that the CIMA, when paired with KREUZA aerodynamic components, delivers an average saving of 4.1 watts, equating to nearly 48 seconds over 40 km at 300 watts — performance gains that translate directly into competitive advantage in racing scenarios.

Throughout the 2026 season, the team will fully validate this high-performance combination in real competition, racing the evolve CIMA together with KREUZA Slice aerodynamic water bottles across UCI events, stage races, and time trials, providing meaningful performance feedback at the highest level of the sport.

Founded by industry veterans and a former UCI professional rider, evolve applies a rider-first, data-driven philosophy, focusing on real-world performance rather than laboratory-only claims. Since its launch, the CIMA has gained strong recognition among both professionals and enthusiasts, positioning evolve as a credible and ambitious new force in the global road cycling market.

Tested by thousands of cyclists and clubs worldwide, evolve is now ready to enter the professional cycling stage.

The partnership between evolve and Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente is built on shared principles: engineering precision, performance under pressure, and long-term rider development. Throughout the 2026 season, evolve bikes will be raced across UCI events, national classics, stage races, and time trials — providing authentic validation, continuous feedback, and global visibility at the highest competitive level.

Together, evolve and Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente aim to demonstrate that innovation and heritage are not opposing forces, but complementary strengths driving the future of professional cycling.
